Warren County Jail Roster Overview
Warren County Regional Jail uses a Public Safety Cloud and JailTracker roster app for the adult inmate search. The jail homepage links to the search, and the Commonwealth's Attorney defendant database page also points readers to the Warren County inmate search next to KOOL and public court records. That shared official routing makes JailTracker the first source for a person believed to be in adult custody at the local jail.
The jail is operated by the Warren County Jailer. It is not run by the Warren County Sheriff's Office, even though the sheriff's office is a key law-enforcement agency in the county. Jailer Stephen Harmon is named on the jail site, while Sheriff Brett Hightower is named on the sheriff site. For inmate records, booking data, visitation, mail, money, open records, and custody status, the local adult contact is Warren County Regional Jail. For sheriff incident records, civil process, patrol, or business-office records, use the sheriff's office.
The official Warren County Regional Jail homepage shows the inmate-search entry point and the jail's other custody resources.

The homepage source is useful because it ties the roster to the same jail that publishes open records, visitation, mail, Class D, reentry, and PREA information.
Use Warren County JailTracker
The Warren County inmate records search should start with the official JailTracker roster. Search broadly first. A misspelled first name, nickname, hyphenated surname, or recent booking can hide a person if the search is too narrow. The roster app may also use captcha, current-only settings, or release filters. If the app does not load, if an arrest is very recent, or if a result seems incomplete, call the jail at (270) 843-4606.
- Open the Warren County JailTracker roster.
- Enter the last name first, then add a first name only if the result set is too broad.
- Use current-inmate or released-since filters if the public app displays those options.
- Complete captcha exactly when prompted.
- Open the matching record to review available booking, charge, bond, court, photo, and hold fields.
- Use the jail phone line, open records, KYeCourts, KOOL, VINE, BOP, or ICE if the person is not found.
There is no verified Warren County Kentucky sheriff or jail mobile app that provides an app-only inmate roster. Some search results point to other Warren County jurisdictions in other states. For Warren County, Kentucky, the official adult roster path remains JailTracker, with VINE serving as a custody notification tool rather than a substitute roster.
Warren County Roster Search Fields
The public roster did not fully render in the text crawler used during research, but the inspected app model exposed the search and profile fields below. That means the platform can support these elements, even when Warren County's public view or a user's browser shows a smaller set. The live app and jail phone line remain the current authority for any single custody record.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Last Name | Text | Unspecified | Best first search field for Warren County inmate records. |
| First Name | Text | Unspecified | Add after last name when too many matches appear. |
| Search Type | Option or dropdown | Unspecified | The model exposes search type and options. |
| Released Since | Option or value | Unspecified | May help when the person has recently left custody. |
| Current Inmates Only | Checkbox or filter | Unspecified | Useful for active custody searches. |
| Booking Number | Text or display | Not confirmed as input | The model exposes booking number grid fields. |
| Captcha | Image and text | Conditional | Captcha fields can block results if entered incorrectly. |
Warren County Inmate Profile Fields
A JailTracker profile is a booking record, not a full court file. It may show arrest and jail data before the court case catches up, and it may show a charge that later changes. Prosecutors can amend charges, dismiss counts, add counts, or file a different formal charging document. For the court record after an arrest, use KYeCourts or the Warren Circuit Court Clerk; for booking custody, the roster and jail records are the right sources.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Name | First, middle, and last name fields exposed by the platform model. |
| Booking or arrest identifiers | Booking number, arrest number, jacket number, control number, or UID where displayed. |
| Photo | Image fields exist, but the public photo view depends on Warren County's configuration. |
| Booking and release timing | Original booking date and final release date fields if the public view shows them. |
| Facility and agency | Facility, agency, and arresting agency fields when enabled. |
| Charges | Charge description, arrest code, crime type, court type, offense date, court date, case number, and warrant number fields. |
| Bond | Bond type, bond amount, and fine amount fields. |
| Holds | Hold type, reason, hold date, expiration, and related hold display fields. |
Booking photos need careful wording. The JailTracker platform supports inmate images, but the research did not justify a blanket claim that every Warren County profile shows a mugshot at all times. Current image visibility depends on the active roster settings, custody status, and any legal limits. For photo-specific details, use the separate jail mugshots page or the jail open-records process.
Warren County Jail or DOC
Many failed inmate searches use the wrong system. Warren County Regional Jail is the adult local jail for recent arrests, pretrial custody, county sentences, and some Class D or federal-related custody functions. KOOL is the Kentucky Department of Corrections offender locator. BOP is federal. ICE ODLS is immigration detention. VINE can provide notices but does not replace the jail roster or court file.
| Custody | Where to Look | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Adult pretrial or county sentence | Warren County JailTracker | Local jail booking and custody records. |
| Class D state inmate at county jail | JailTracker and KOOL | Physical custody may be local while offender status is state-related. |
| Sentenced Kentucky offender | KOOL | DOC records follow state custody and supervision. |
| Custody notifications | Kentucky VINE | Registers phone or email notices for status changes. |
| Federal inmate | BOP inmate locator | Federal records from 1982 to present, not county roster data. |
| Immigration detainee | ICE ODLS | Search by A-number and country or biographical details. |
The Commonwealth's Attorney database page warns that KOOL data newer than 120 days may not be final. That caution matters after a Warren County defendant is sentenced. A person may leave the county roster before the state record is complete, and a court file may update before a DOC profile settles.
Warren County Inmate Facilities
Warren County has an adult jail and a separate juvenile detention center in Bowling Green. Only the adult jail belongs in a normal Warren County jail roster search. The juvenile center is operated by the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice and public juvenile custody records are restricted. Do not assume a missing adult roster result means a youth can be searched by name through JailTracker.

Warren County Booking Records
Booking starts when an adult is brought to Warren County Regional Jail after arrest by Bowling Green Police, the sheriff's office, Kentucky State Police, or another agency, unless the person is cited and released, medically diverted, transferred, or handled through juvenile processes. Intake can involve identity checks, search, property handling, medical screening, classification, phone access, and the creation of a JailTracker record. No official Warren page states an exact public posting time after booking.
Newly admitted inmates must be allowed a reasonable number of collect calls or collect long-distance calls to an attorney or family member within a reasonable time after booking, or as time permits until one call is completed. The jail rules also say inmates are allowed at least one collect call each week, three-way calls may be disconnected, and calls may be monitored or recorded. Medical requests use a Medical Request Form, with emergency medical, dental, and psychiatric care available.
Record timing: Check JailTracker first, but call the jail when the arrest is recent, the app is down, or release or transfer is possible.
Warren County Bond and Holds
Roster bond fields can be helpful, but they do not replace the court record. Bond is normally set through a court process or court order. A person may still stay in custody if another hold exists, including another county warrant, a DOC hold, a parole or probation issue, a federal hold, an ICE detainer, new charges, or a no-bond court order. Call the jail and check KYeCourts when bond status is unclear.
The Warren jail rules include one very local bond instruction: money orders or cashier's checks for bond must be made payable to Warren County Circuit Court Clerk. If they are made out to anyone else, the jail says they will be refused. The rules also list a $70 processing fee and a $30 daily housing fee for county inmates, with release paperwork addressing refunds or payment-plan setup when fees remain.

Warren County Visitation Records
Visitation is tied to custody status, housing area, and published jail rules. The official visitation and rules page says main jail visits are by appointment only on Wednesday and Saturday. Family and friends call the jail from 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday unless the front office is closed, and appointments must be made the day before the requested visit. Dorm-specific Class D windows differ.

The same source connects visitation with jail mail, telephone access, money deposits, bond payment instructions, property handling, medical care, and religious practice rules.
| Population / Area | Days | Times / Process |
|---|---|---|
| Main Jail | Wednesday and Saturday | By appointment only, call the jail the day before. |
| Class D Male D Dorm | Tuesday | 7:00-7:30 p.m., 7:40-8:10 p.m., 8:20-8:50 p.m. |
| Class D Male E Dorm | Wednesday | 7:00-7:30 p.m., 7:40-8:10 p.m., 8:20-8:50 p.m. |
| Class D Male F Dorm | Thursday | 7:00-7:30 p.m., 7:40-8:10 p.m., 8:20-8:50 p.m. |
| C Dorm | Monday and Sunday | Short published windows in the evening Monday and morning Sunday. |
| D, E, and F Dorm Sunday | Sunday | Separate late morning and afternoon windows by dorm. |
Warren County Mail and Money
Mail must have proper postage, inmate name, and a return address. Incoming mail without a sender name and return address is refused, and initials or nicknames for the sender are not accepted. Laminated mail is not accepted. Legal mail from attorneys, courts, or public officials is not read by detention deputies, but it is inspected for contraband in the inmate's presence. Other mail is inspected for contraband and safety or security issues.
| Method | Where / How | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Cash | Front office during normal business hours | Accepted for inmate account deposits. |
| Money order or certified check | Mail addressed to the inmate | Personal checks are not accepted. |
| TouchPay kiosk | Main lobby during normal business hours | Named on the official jail rules page. |
| Bond money order or cashier's check | Payable to Warren County Circuit Court Clerk | Wrong payee causes refusal under the jail rule. |
Property rules also matter for families reading inmate records. Property is accepted at the front office Monday through Friday, except holidays, with different windows for Old Jail and Class D. Unclaimed property after 30 days may become jail property and be disposed of. Confirm custody before sending funds or property because a release, transfer, or hold change can make a recent roster result stale.
Request Warren County Inmate Records
For Warren County inmate records not visible in JailTracker, use the jail's open-records page or contact the jail. A useful request is specific. Include the person's full name, date of birth if known, booking date, arresting agency, case number, and the exact record being requested. Kentucky open-records law generally requires a response within five business days, excluding weekends and legal holidays, but exemptions can apply.
The Warren County Regional Jail open-records page is the local adult jail request channel.

Open records are also the better path for older booking details, records that are no longer in the current roster view, and booking-photo requests when the photo is not shown online.
Juvenile records, sealed records, expunged records, medical information, security-sensitive details, and certain exempt records can be withheld or redacted. Court filings after arrest are requested through KYeCourts or the Warren Circuit Court Clerk, not the jail roster. Sentenced state offender records are handled through KOOL or DOC open records.
